SCAN COIN Inc., Limited Warranty
1. SCAN COIN, INC. (SCI) warrants that its products will be free of defect in material and workmanship. This warranty applies during the twelve (12) month period from the date of shipment of the product from SCI. The warranty shaff not apply to repair of damage from shipment (which is the carrier's responsibility) or of damage or defects arising as a result of misuse, unauthorized repair, neglect, alteration, accident or use of supplies that do not meet SCI's minimum specifications. Expendable parts such as fuses, lamps, pads, belts and operating supplies are excluded from this warranty.
2. Under this warranty, SCI, at its expense, will repair or replace any defective part or parts shipped to SCI, Freight prepaid by the customer. SCI will deliver the appropriate repaired or replaced part to the customer freight prepaid. This means that SCI will not reimburse any third party for labor charges.
3. This Warranty is in lieu of (and SCI Excludes) all other express or implied Warranties including, without limitation, any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
4. SCI's sole liability and customer's exclusive remedy for any claim, whether in tort, contract, strict liability or otherwise, is limited to the repair or replacement of defective parts pursuant to the warranty described above and in no event shall SCI be liable to its Customer for any damages, direct or indirect or consequential, whether in tort, contract, strict liability, or otherwise, arising out of or resulting from the furnishing of products hereunder, or be liable for any contribution or indemnification. In no event will SCI's liability exceed SCI's sale price for the defective product.
